Simplify your global hiring process

Visas and immigration

We can take care of visas and immigration for senior personnel being sent to oversee your foreign operations.

We make it easy and fast

What do we do?

If you are contracting overseas workers through us, you might want to send senior people to oversee operations or otherwise represent you. In most countries, foreigners will require a visa to be able to work legally.

As part of an international PEO / EOR services package, we can provide comprehensive support, not only with their visas and immigration, but also with helping to get them settled.

How we do it?

While every country has slightly different requirements when it comes to visas and immigration, in most cases the process will involve the following:

1. Offer

For anyone you will be sending as part of an international PEO / EOR services package, we send an offer letter to officially contract them by our local entity.

2. Infomation Gathering

Once they sign the offer, we will liaise with them to gather the required information for their visa application.

3. Application Submission

Based on the information gathered, we draft the initial visa application and submit it to relevant authorities.

4. Application Approval

Once the application has been accepted, we help the applicant schedule an appointment at a consulate outside of the destination country.

5. Final Approval

After the approval from the host government, the applicant is scheduled for their final immigration appointment, where they receive final approval to start working.

6. Additional Assistance

Any additional assistance, such as with travel or accommodation, can be provided throughout the process.

Frequently asked questions

1. What visa and immigration services does Serviap Global provide?

Serviap Global offers end-to-end corporate immigration support, including work visas, work and residence permits, visa renewals, status changes, and compliance checks for your international workforce. Our team coordinates documentation, filings, and communication with local authorities and in-country partners so your employees can live and work legally in their host country. These services can be used on their own or combined with our global hiring solutions.

We support employers with visas and immigration in 140+ countries, with strong coverage across Latin America, North America, Europe and selected markets in Asia and Africa. If you already have a target country in mind, our team can quickly confirm the available visa routes, estimated timelines, and local requirements for that location. You can also explore our country-specific hiring content to understand the broader employment landscape in each market.

In many cases, no. Serviap Global can sponsor work visas via our Employer of Record (EOR) solution, allowing you to employ and relocate talent without opening a local entity. Where a local entity is legally required, we will clearly explain your options and help you choose the most compliant and cost-effective setup, whether that’s direct employment, EOR, or contractor engagement.

Our visas and immigration services are built for companies, not individual travelers. We primarily work with HR, talent acquisition, global mobility and operations teams that need to hire, relocate or regularize employees and contractors in new countries. Typical scenarios include opening a new market, moving key talent between entities, or bringing remote foreign employees into full legal compliance under the correct immigration status.

Once you share the role, target country and candidate profile, we:

  1. Assess eligibility and recommend the best visa route.

  2. Provide a clear checklist of required documents for both the company and the employee.

  3. Prepare and review all immigration forms and supporting evidence.

  4. Coordinate filings, appointments, interviews and biometrics with local authorities.

  5. Guide the employee through arrival and any post-arrival registrations.

If you also use our EOR, contractor or RPO services, we can synchronize immigration with compliant hiring and onboarding so your employee starts working as soon as the visa is approved.

Learn more about our solutions:

Processing times depend on the country, visa category, and how quickly documents are gathered. Some straightforward cases may be completed within a few weeks, while others can take several months due to government backlogs, additional security checks, or quota limits. At the start of each case we provide an estimated timeline based on current local processing times and keep you informed about any changes or delays throughout the process.

7. Can Serviap Global help relocate existing employees or regularize remote workers abroad?

Yes. We frequently support companies that need to:

  • Relocate existing employees to a new country,

  • Convert contractors into compliant employees, or

  • Regularize remote workers who have moved abroad without the right work authorization.

We review each case, identify available immigration options, flag potential risks (for example, working on a tourist or wrong visa class), and propose a compliant strategy. From there, we manage the immigration steps and can align them with EOR or contractor solutions when needed.

In many countries, we can help employees bring eligible family members (such as spouses, partners and children) under dependent or accompanying visas. The exact rules, rights and timelines for dependants vary by jurisdiction, so our team will explain what is possible in each country and coordinate family applications alongside the main work visa to keep relocations smooth and compliant.

Compliance is at the core of our model. Serviap Global combines in-country experts, vetted legal partners and continuous monitoring of immigration, labor and tax regulations to keep your global workforce compliant. We ensure that visa routes, employment structures and documentation follow local rules, helping reduce the risk of fines, audits, visa cancellations or reputational damage linked to non-compliant hiring.

Pricing depends on the country, visa type, case complexity and whether you bundle immigration with services such as EOR, contractor management or RPO. We favor transparent, up-front pricing: before starting a case, you receive a breakdown of professional fees and expected government costs. For ongoing hiring or mobility programs, we can design scalable packages that cover immigration plus compliant employment and payroll in your key markets.
